PTP is delighted to announce, after the culmination of many months of hard work, that we have been successfully certified to the environmental standard ISO14001.
ISO 14001 is an ISO standard that recognizes an environmental management system. It is a management tool that aids any firm, irrespective of size, sector or type, to identify and to control the impact of its activities, its products and services on the environment.
The structured approach of ISO14001 defines environment-oriented goals and help organizations to pursue them.
This sits alongside ISO9001 – for which PTP have been certified for many years.
Director Alison Wells said “This certification is just the start for us. We intend to use this as a platform to expand our work around sustainability and helping the environment. As a small business we recognise that in ourselves we have minimal impact on the planet, however the products we supply to all corners of the globe can really make a difference. That is why we are focussing so much time and effort on having sustainable alternatives for our customers and we encourage them to look at all aspects of the supply chain when taking procurement decisions. Our team have worked so hard for ISO14001 and we couldn’t be more pleased to have achieved certification on our first attempt.”
